Have you heard? There‘s a secret Vegepod group on Facebook that not even Vegepod is a part of! It’s called the ‘Vegepod Owners’ Facebook page and it’s run by an amazing, completely organic community of Vegepod owners - with no chime in from Vegepod staff! (Unless it’s an employee’s personal account and they are joining in on the fun ;)
That’s right - we’re deliberately keeping the page ‘corporate free’ because we don’t want to interfere in any way, shape or form. The page is an amazing testimony to strength of the Vegepod product with a warm, vibrant community of growers providing support, information and celebration in the context of different applications, climates, successes, and advice from around the world!
Check the page out now! They’re almost at the milestone of 2,000 members (all organic - we couldn’t be prouder!) Here are some of our top posts from the page so far:
Safni Jeffrey, QLD - Possum Magic
We love this simple post because it shows off the Vegepod’s pest-proof barrier to its full extent. Not a caterpillar, bird or possum can get through our secure and sturdy garden cover.
Steve Symonds, QLD - Articles Galore!
This is just one of the many useful gardening articles that Vegepod owners are reposting on the feed! Although we try and cover common gardening topics on our blog and FAQ section - these in-depth articles about niche gardening topics are great to read up on.
Jen Carr, Canada - Canadian Leaves
Planting advice and updates from around the world! We love how people from different countries are commenting on harvesting patterns and sharing updates here.
Rosalind Oliver - 24 Carrot Magic!
Love these ‘real world’ images of home grown vegetables gone right and gone wrong! There’s nothing better than the exceptional knowledge sharing and growing advice here!
Paul Kaaczorek, Dulwich Hill NSW - Chain Reaction
Vegepod owners sharing inventive ways to modify and/or set up the Vegepod. This one was in response to extreme winds going throughout NSW at the time.
Have you had a chance to check out the page yet?! Think you’ll contribute? Help them get to the milestone of 2K! If you’re living abroad and want content specific to your country, consider starting another page - we know there’s a Vegepod Owners NZ page. We’re excited to see where the Vegepod Owners community goes in future. As always, happy planting!

I HAVE JUST PURCHASED A MEDIUM VEGEPOD, IS WAS SO EASY TO PUT TOGETHER NOW READY TO PLANT IT UP
I have had a vegepod for about three years, and I really enjoy it as gardening is my hobby. I have a worm farm as well. However I have noticed slugs are getting into vegepod as where the lid fits onto base there is the tiniest gap.
Love my Vegepod, all my friends that check it out would love to own it. Very happy I now keep out the wild life , & neighbours cats.
I am so excited to read the above. As a first time grower of veggies at the younngg age of 78, you may laugh but after I planted my Heirloom seeds on Monday 15th October in Adelaide, I checked every day for signs of growth, [laugh now]. But today Friday to my delight there are little plants poking through already. Looking forward to sharing on the Facebook page.
