Powered by The Water Conservancy- the leading authority on water efficiency- the SAWM Product of the Year Award was founded in 2008 and is designed to recognise leading-edge licensed products and services that use water efficiently.
Vegepod was awarded in the residential category amongst 40 other nominees and was judged by a panel of 7 experts on the following criteria:
- Innovation – is the product an innovative solution to water conservation, and/or is it the first to market in its category?
- Design – is the product easy to use, install and well designed?
- Marketability – what is the price point, affordability, and packaging of the product?
- Sustainability – what is the carbon footprint of the product?
Vegepod has been proudly Smart Approved WaterMark certified since 2020 for it's ability to decrease watering by 80% compared to other raised garden beds. The Vegepod's wicking beds & unique Australian design all promote water efficiency in the garden and allow you to grow your food sustainably!
