It has been an amazing year, and what better way to reflect than share some of the best pictures from podders around the world!
In no particular order, here are some of our favourite pictures from 2017...
It’s always a hoot coming across new applications for Vegepods. How’s this one? Not keeping the critters out but rather aiding and abetting them! It’s a butterfly sanctuary pod. Jacqui Knight is the editor of Moths & Butterflies of New Zealand’s Trust Magazine. She did a story on using small pods to protect the fodder crop and Monarchs. Go kiwis! . Small pod, Aotearoa 🤙🌱💦
It can snow any time of the year here but even in winter I can grow kale, bok choy, beetroot, walking onion and strawberries in my Vegepods! Growth does slow of course but they all survive in temperatures regularly down to -8C. I actually don't use the winter covers and these are just the regular canopies. I live in high attitude and find when the sun does come out it is too intense and they can get too hot inside. I might try cutting some holes in the winter covers to find a sweet spot. Reposting a Mike O'Brien on Vegepod Owners FB page. . Three large pods, Tasmania 🤙🌱💦
Another delicious harvest of carrots today out of our blessed vegepod! Did you know you can make pesto from the carrot leaves?! I didn't either until Simon from vegepod enlightened me! Today we gave it a go and it was delicious! Perfect and absolutely no waste from home grown food 🥕 😋👌Karina. . Reposting @liveallthedays, Brisbane 🇦🇺🤙🌱💦🍆 .
